I apologize, everyone!
I have been extremely busy reading and writing essays for the American History volumes of the Essays on the Classics! series–and also marketing them to schools in Southern California.
Last week I read, on the fly, Tom Wolfe’s The Right Stuff, James Watson’s The Double Helix, and Thomas Kuhn’s The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. I used these to explain the scientific breakthroughs of the 1950s and early 1960s.
This week I am reading Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Why We Can’t Wait (which I just finished five minutes ago) and Stride Towards Freedom as well as The Autobiography of Malcolm X. You geniuses can hopefully all figure out that I will be writing about the Civil Rights movement.
Volumes 4 and 5 are both out, and available on CreateSpace and Amazon. Volume 4 lacks a Preface which will eventually be put in when I get one, and the Table of Contents reflects the fact that I expect one to be in there. Take a look and you will not be disappointed!
